Ramesh conducted an experiment in the school laboratory. He took a small amount of blue copper sulphate solution in a beaker. Then, he dipped a clean iron nail into it and left it undisturbed for some time. After 30 minutes, he observed that the blue colour of the solution faded, and a reddish-brown layer was deposited on the iron nail.
