2. Why is the ozone layer important? Name one chemical responsible for its depletion.


Answer: The ozone layer absorbs harmful UV rays, protecting life on Earth.

Chemical responsible: Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs).


3. What will happen if all the herbivores are removed from an ecosystem?


Answer:
